# Open Source

Some of what we build for our own products is useful on its own. When it is, we publish it: the code, the decisions, and what is not built yet.

## Projects and experiments

### MakiSend

Experiment · Early · Cloudflare Workers, Hono, D1, Queues, Workflows, TypeScript

An open source alternative to Resend that deploys as an app on your Cloudflare account, even on the free plan: no server, no infrastructure to run. One API call, then logs, templates and retries. Self-hosted, with the dashboard and API keys included.

The question behind it: can a serverless backend send email over plain SMTP, at scale, and still land in the inbox?

- Deploys in one click, on Cloudflare's free plan
- Dashboard and API keys included
- Your SMTP provider, your data encrypted in your own account

## How we work in the open

- **Experiments first**: We publish ideas while they are still questions, and say plainly what is not built yet.
- **Yours to run**: Projects deploy on your own account, so your data and your costs stay with you.
- **Contributions welcome**: Issues, ideas and pull requests are open on GitHub.

## Everything we publish is on GitHub
